Energy Transition
Electrification infrastructure. Delivered in live environments.
Cape Dunstans supports asset-intensive industries as they transition toward lower-emission operations, delivering the infrastructure required for fleet electrification, renewable integration and industrial power upgrades.
We operate at the point where strategy meets site reality. From early feasibility through to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), we deliver practical electrification solutions that integrate with live operations and existing infrastructure.
What we deliver
- Fleet and plant electrification infrastructure
- Renewable generation and battery storage integration
- Industrial power system upgrades
- Brownfield electrical expansion
- EV charging infrastructure
- Electrification-ready distribution systems
We design and construct the electrical and supporting civil infrastructure required to enable transition programs – safely, reliably and with minimal disruption.
Capability
Infrastructure we deliver: electrical distribution and switchboard infrastructure, renewable and battery storage integration, electrification infrastructure for fleet and plant, supporting civil and underground services.
Where we operate: active mining and industrial sites, brownfield and constrained environments, sites with limited grid capacity, large-scale fleet and plant electrification programs, staged transition programs aligned to capital planning.
How we deliver
Engineering-led planning – feasibility, staging and infrastructure design aligned to operational requirements. Integrated execution – electrical, civil and underground works delivered as one coordinated system. Live environment delivery – sequenced construction that maintains operations and minimises disruption. End-to-end control – from early planning through to EPC delivery and commissioning.
Our difference
Strategy and delivery in one team.
Many organisations can advise on decarbonisation pathways. Few can deliver the enabling infrastructure. Cape Dunstans bridges this gap by combining feasibility and business case development, transition staging and infrastructure planning, and engineering and construction delivery. This ensures early decisions are grounded in deliverability, cost certainty and long-term performance.
Proven capability
Cape Dunstans’ energy transition capability is demonstrated through the Centurion Battery Electric Vehicle Project, where we supported electrification-related infrastructure in a live operating environment. We completed installation of an 8,540 panel rooftop solar array, adding over 4.1MW of clean energy capacity. The infrastructure now powers Australia’s first fully off-grid electric truck fleet from Centurion’s Perth depot, with 30 eActros 300 electric trucks running entirely on onsite green energy. This project reflects our practical approach to brownfield delivery, site integration and the construction works required to support fleet electrification.
Let’s talk
We deliver the infrastructure that enables energy transition – safely, practically and at scale.
