Executive Team

Greg Hutchinson – Chief Executive Officer

Greg Hutchinson is an experienced civil engineer and executive leader with almost 30 years’ experience across engineering, civil construction, infrastructure, utilities, mining and resources contracting in Australia and internationally. A Curtin University civil engineering graduate, Greg began his career in project delivery roles before progressing through senior engineering, estimating, project management, business development and operational leadership positions with leading contractors including Macmahon, Mouchel in the United Kingdom, Thiess, Ertech, NRW and BGC Contracting. Greg joined Cape Dunstans in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2019. Under his leadership, Cape Dunstans has continued to strengthen its capability across the resources, infrastructure and utilities sectors, with a focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence and meaningful Indigenous participation. As CEO of KCU, Greg works closely with Kurtarra and the broader team to support business growth, community engagement and long-term opportunities for Indigenous people and businesses across regional Western Australia.

Allan Holland

Allan Holland is an experienced civil and construction professional with more than 20 years in the industry. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Construction) (Hons) and membership with Engineers Australia, Allan brings a strong combination of technical expertise and leadership capability. In his current role, he is responsible for project delivery, tendering, and overseeing Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) systems, while also contributing to operational performance and strategic direction. Prior to joining Cape Dunstans, Allan spent 13 years with DeGrey Civil where he led the delivery of major infrastructure projects across Western Australia. His broader career includes senior roles with NRW, ARCCON, Clough / Henry Walker Eltin, and Soil & Rock Engineering.

Our leaders

David Hoffman – Design & Engineering Manager and Hydrogeologist

David specialises in horizontal directional drilling and trenchless infrastructure including horizontal dewatering wells and seawater intakes. His focus includes leading high-performing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex and innovative solutions for the resources, water and energy industries. He has 30 years’ experience in the application of drilling technologies, geotechnical interpretation, aquifer characterisation and civil construction. David’s innovative work continues to be recognised globally, including the design and construction of horizontal dewatering wells using horizontal directional drilling for the mining industry in Australia.

Robert Tindall – HDD Drilling Manager

Robert is an experienced HDD Drilling Manager with 25 years’ industry experience, including more than 10 years in supervisory and management roles. Rob has extensive experience across HDD drilling operations, project planning, mobilisation, casing installation, cementing, well development, site safety management and personnel supervision. With a practical, delivery-focused approach, Rob works closely with operational, maintenance, engineering and HSEQ teams to support safe, efficient and professional project delivery.

Janine Edge – EGM Support Services

Janine is an experienced HR professional with more than 30 years working in leadership, strategic and operational Human Resources across government, not-for-profit, professional, commercial, hospitality, medical and industrial businesses. In her current role, Janine leads the Support Services team that encompasses HR, L&D, Health, Safety & Quality whilst also contributing to Cape Dunstans’ leadership and direction.

Rachel Bettinelli – Financial Controller

Rachel Bettinelli is the Financial Controller at Cape Dunstans, responsible for financial management, governance, reporting and strategic support across the Group. Rachel has over 15 years’ experience in senior finance leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller positions within the manufacturing, mining, construction, utilities and not-for-profit sectors. A Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Rachel has a strong background in board and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, systems and ERP implementations, cash flow management and internal controls.
